March Madness!

Depending on the day, Mike and I get comments about how much Lila looks just like me or just like him. We agree that she is a nice blend of the two of us. One thing that is UNdoubtedly all Mike is Lila's affection for sports!

Lila watches a handful of cartoons or music shows, but all in all doesn't really pay that much attention to the TV. However, this girl BEGS for football, but basketball will do! You can imagine just how proud her father is!

Speaking of MADNESS, have you ever tried to get a nice, smiling picture of an almost 2 year old?!

Busy Bee!

Lila is really a busy little girl! There is a never a dull moment with her around! Whether it is...

Loving on her puppies...

Or doodling...

She is so much fun to be around! Every day brings something new, a new word, a new song, a new milestone. Just today Lila and Mike were playing with a ball and she stuck her arms right out and she caught it! It wasn't a fluke, she did it several times over! Woo hoo!

Tuesday found us heading to the US Cellular Center for non other than Barney's Birthday Bash! I saw an advertisement that the big purple dinosaur was coming to town, Mike and I both agreed that we had to take her! Lila came home one day from daycare asking for "Ba," neither of us knew what on earth that meant until low and behold she found a Barney DVD in our collection and showed us that Ba meant Barney! Ever since, she has been a huge fan!

We both knew that she would be excited, but we could have never predicted how she would react once she saw Barney come out on the stage! From the minute he walked out until the end of the show she was on her feet, dancing, singing, clapping and squealing with delight!

Thank you, thank you, thank you Mommy & Daddy! I had so much fun!

Mike and I both agreed that the performance wasn't all that enjoyable for the parents, but the way the kids reacted and to see them all dancing and singing was what made it all worth it! I imagine this won't be the last of these performances for the Eddins family...who knows what characters we will see in the future?!

This weekend brought the Hahn's to our house for a visit! The girls are in awe of each other, both carrying around pictures of each other and talking about each other when they are apart, so it was time to get them together...and the adults too, it had been a long time!

Our basement is full of all sorts of fun things for little ones! So, Henley was eager to try out the slide for the first time! It was a hit!

The girls had a great time playing together and were very good, the only time we had any outbursts was late into the evening when they were beyond tired!

It is fun to watch them interact as the age gap continues to close on the girls! We were all watching them play, envisioning all of the sleep-overs, whispers, and giggles that are in store! We can't wait!
