S-N-O-W!

This week the news channels were all abuzz with rumor that we were in for blizzard like conditions with 8-12+ inches of snow.  We haven't had even a trace of snow yet, so you can imagine that the people in Iowa were pretty much freaking out about the possibility of the snow to come.  Not at the Eddins house, we were excited to get the much talked about snow storm! 

Wednesday the snow started to fall and I am not sure who had the loudest shrieks of excitement, Mike or Lila?!  They wasted absolutely no time (and even pushed back bedtime) to be able to get outside and get into that first snow of the season!  Lila was literally aching to get out there and do a snow angel!

The next morning we woke up to even more snow on the ground and high winds!  School was cancelled for Lila and Mommy went to work a bit late, so some extra snuggles were had that morning!  Mike and I agree...if it is going to be cold, it might as well snow!  We hope that this winter is a white one!
